On Friday, November 21, members of the VSUAA Tidewater Alumni Chapter spent their evening participating in our annual Thanksgiving community service activity with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia.
On Friday, November 21, members of the VSUAA Tidewater Alumni Chapter spent their evening participating in our annual Thanksgiving community service project with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. We proudly supported their Mayflower Marathon Food Drive, contributing our time and effort to help families in need.
Throughout the night, members fulfilled a variety of roles, including packing boxes with meal items, loading the Foodbank truck, retrieving donations from the drive-through drop-off lane, sorting incoming contributions, and spreading holiday cheer as they greeted community donors.
The experience served as a meaningful reminder of all we have to be grateful for, a chance to represent VSU while making a positive impact in our local community. And, in true Tidewater Alumni Chapter fashion, the evening was filled with fellowship and VSU spirit.
